I know firsthand that strong communities don’t just happen - they are built by neighbors who show up for one another, and they require a government that does the same.

A government that listens, takes action, and is accountable for making decisions that respond to the real needs and problems of everyday people. As a child of farmworker parents, I also know how hard it is for working people to be heard at City Hall.

As Community Relations Director for Fresno City Councilmember Miguel Arias, I tracked infrastructure projects like roads, sidewalks, and park renovations to ensure timely completion,  helped residents resolve complicated issues, and shaped policies like Blighted Vacant Building Ordinance and expanding support for small businesses. I also run a small consulting company, which has given me insights into what small business owners are up against in the City of Fresno.
